Today, Colby got hold of my laptop and was able to hack into babyzone, Babies "R" Us, and the Obama website. Look out, he is out to hack into your computer if he gets the chance!!

Halloween

Colby celebrated his first Halloween by dressing up as a penguin. He looked really cute but was not able to knock on any doors yet for candy. His treat was a nice warm bottle of formula!

Gangsta Colby

We are still enjoying Mr. Colby so much. He is starting to get into a routine and actually sleep more through the night. Yesterday, we took him to Myrtle Beach with us. He had a good time, even though he slept most of the time. It was also his first time in a pool. He liked it OK but I think it might have been a bit cold in there.

First Bath

Colby had his first bath yesterday. He did not like it so much but I think he will get to the point where he enjoys it. Here are a few pics of the first time in his new tub!

Sleepless In Matthews

Its been about a week or so since we brought Colby home and in that time we have watched him grow up to be a fine young 2 week old boy. He is drinking 4 whole ounces of milk every feeding and learning how to burn the midnight oil all night long. Mommy and daddy have learned to sleep like a baby lately. We are up every two hours crying.

He's Here !!!

Little Colby finally came into the world at 1:35 PM weighing 8 pounds. He is the cutest and most precious boy in the world. Danielle and I were very excited when he came and are so happy to finally hold him in our arms. I am posting a few pics so everyone can see how sweet he is. Danielle is doing fine how that it is all over. It is a relief for her to not be going through all the rigors of pre-labor. We hope to have her home on Friday.

Visit To Dr. Matkins

Well, today was somewhat disappointing. Danielle has been in alot of pain with almost hourly contractions yet the doctor told us he would not induce until next Wednesday. We had hoped he would do it tomorrow but he seemed to have changed his mind since our last visit to him. Anyway, it's all about Colby and we will do anything it takes to have a healthy baby boy!

Looks like Danielle ate too much dinner but alas, it's just baby Colby's hiding place. It seems he likes to stay in the belly. We are hoping he finally decides to move out of his one bedroom apartment and enter the luxury of our bank owned three bedroom house.

Waiting For Colby

We decided to start this blog as a spot for family and friends to visit so they can see pictures and updates of our soon to be delivered baby boy Colby. Danielle is hopefully in her final week of her pregnancy and we are very excited for the arrival of our new baby. We are thinking if Colby does not decide to come on his own then we are going to ask for inducement on Friday. We will keep everyone updated.
